Sara Aleman was recognized Monday as the Difference Maker Teacher at Goliad Middle School for January while Amanda Torres was recognized as the Staff Member Difference Maker at the school.
In a nomination for Aleman, one person wrote, “Sara is a team player and highly respected on the campus. She pitches in when needed and has even taken on supporting HB4545 requirements for tutoring beyond her art teaching assignment. She is pleasant, flexible and takes on tasks and requests head on and never complains. She encourages student creativity and plans engaging lessons. Mrs. Aleman is an asset to the campus.” In the nomination for Torres, one person wrote, “She is the smile and sets the pace for the office. Amanda is cordial to all guests and is organized and detailed. She keeps exemplary attendance records and compliance documentation. She make a difference with students too. Mrs. Torres knows student and parents by name and develops relationships with a genuine concern. Amanda brings a spirit of service to our campus."
